Personal Injury Attorney – A Welcome Message from Nikki

As a personal injury attorney practicing since 1992, I want to thank you for visiting my law firm’s web-site. So you know, developing this site has been a real labor of love for me. The site has been done and redone several times until I felt the image was just right.

So who am I, and what is Zen 4 Law all about?

Well, I’m Nikki Kavouklis, a personal injury attorney, who is also an author, inspirational speaker and animal advocate. Since 1992, I’ve been representing clients for personal injury claims. These claims include auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip/trip and falls, wrongful death, product liability, and any other situation involving injury.

Attorney Nikki Kavouklis’ Journey as a Personal Injury Attorney

On April 19, 1999, my law firm opened its main office in Tarpon Springs, Pinellas County, Florida. Shortly thereafter, the firm expanded into New Port Richey, Pasco County as well as Spring Hill and Brooksville in Hernando County. A few years later, my law firm ventured into Crystal River and Inverness, both in Citrus County.

As a personal injury attorney, I have represented thousands of clients throughout the years. My law firm either settles cases pre-suit or litigates them all the way through trial.  My law firm never represents insurance companies nor does it defend a tortfeasor in a personal injury claim.

In February of 2007, my father, who was my rock and greatest supporter, passed away. Shortly thereafter, I went through a self-awakening in which I realized there was more to life than working hundred hour weeks chained to my desk. I wanted more for myself. And I wanted more for my personal injury clients.

A Personal Injury Attorney Has a Moral Epiphany

If you have ever watched the movie Jerry McGuire, think of me as being like Jerry McGuire (played by Tom Cruise). Jerry, a sport management agent, woke up one day and had a moral epiphany. He then wrote a mission statement to his company. It explained why the sports management business needed to change. He recommended taking on fewer clients to produce better representation of those clients.

Jerry got fired by his company for having a moral compass. Later though, he went on to start his own company and secure for his one and only client a multi-million dollar contract. For more information about this enlightening movie, visit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Maguire.

But I have digressed from my own personal story as a personal injury attorney …

After coming to my own moral epiphany, I began writing inspiration. I had always dreamed of writing, but kept putting my dreams on hold making one excuse after another.

Giving Birth to a Dream – a Personal Injury Attorney’s Journey

The concepts for my inspirational company, Finding Zeni, were also put to paper. And I began writing the first book of my series, The Toad Chronicles, set to release Spring of 2017. More importantly, I took a hard look at my law practice as a personal injury attorney and the legal profession in general. Something was gravely missing — that something being inspiration.

Thus, in September of 2014, I incorporated inspiration into my law practice as a personal injury attorney. I changed the name of my law firm changed from the Law Offices of Nikki M. Kavouklis, P.A. to Zen 4 Law, symbolizing a place where law and inspiration meet.  And I began writing inspiration directed to the legal profession.

On this site, I will be posting the hundreds of inspirational messages, affirmations, videos, and blog entries I have written and spoken during the past two years. Visit my law firm’s various social media sites on Facebook, YouTube, Google Plus, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram for more information.

A Personal Injury Attorney Who Seeks to Motivate & Inspire

The inspirational concept I have developed isn’t something many personal injury attorneys are practicing, if any. Lawyers are taught in law school to fight aggressively on behalf of their clients. They are taught to win at any cost whether that means sacrificing their client’s emotional and financial well-being in the process.

Not unlike the rest of the world, the legal system has become extremely contentious. Tempers often flare out of control and lawyers lose sight of the most valuable asset of their practice — their clients.

This won’t be the first time I have gone out onto a ledge as a personal injury attorney. My law practice was built from the ground up with no advertising money by venturing into practice areas other lawyers were afraid of. I also lectured throughout the State of Florida on various issues related to personal injury claims.

A Personal Injury Attorney on the Forefront of a New Way of Practicing Law

It’s been twenty-four years since I was sworn in by the Florida Supreme Court to practice law. At this point in time, I am approaching my profession as a personal injury attorney with a fresh perspective. l plan to inspire not only my clients, but opposing counsel, fellow attorneys, judges, healthcare professionals treating my clients, and anyone else involved in the legal system.

In June of 2015, this article appeared in the Wall Street Journey,

http://blogs.wsj.com/law/2015/06/18/mindfulness-movement-spreads-to-legal-field/.

This article validates that I am in the forefront of a novel but much needed concept within the legal profession.

As a personal injury attorney, I strive to offer my clients competent, experienced legal representation. This time around though, I want to give my clients something more than just a settlement in their pockets. I want to uplift and empower my clients to come out the other side of their legal journey a stronger, more inspired person.

I look forward to hearing from you and answering any legal questions you might have of me as a personal injury attorney. Please check back at this site for my inspiring messages, affirmations, and videos, all dedicated to uplifting and empowering you during your legal journey.

Love and blessings, Nikki Kavouklis, President and Attorney at Zen 4 Law
